The Inducen ampules are more commonly used in Europe, where they are often referred to as sips. As the name suggests, sips are designed to have the ideal individual dosage sipped through the provided straw.
For the Inducens, the ampule delivery is an integral component for delivering the formula without the use of preservatives or ethanol, which are commonly used to increase shelf life and to prevent microbial growth in the formula. Ampules enable stability and the optimum delivery of the formula with each ampule. When combined with the proprietary blend of nanoparticle minerals, the shelf life of the Inducen formula potency greatly exceeds the 2-year industry standard, providing at least 60 months of product shelf life and potency. Adding preservative or ethanol would also alter the effective transmission of em-signatures imprinted in the solution.
The glass ampules are pre-scored at the waist of the ampule between the tip and the body for ease of breaking the tip off. Although not generally required, a vinyl disc is provided in each Inducen box which can be folded over the tip to make it easier for patients with physical challenges to break the tip more easily. The vinyl disc also serves to prevent the rare, but possible, cutting of the finger in the process.
It is recommended that the practitioner or their staff demonstrate how to gently shake or flick the ampule to get the liquid out of the tip, break open the ampule away from their body, insert the provided straw, and have them sip their first dose, swishing it around their teeth and swallowing.
It is always a good idea to break the ampule tip towards the open Inducen box, over a sink, or trash can, since occasionally a fragment may break off ending up being stepped on when the patient is barefoot at home.
